Engineering reference

## Selecting within the EXA Series family.

Beam angle first — D40 through D120 change the throw substantially — then the wattage for the level at that distance. The published catalog code carries the beam and colour temperature, so confirm the whole code rather than the wattage alone.

EXA is the flood counterpart to the EXI linear: same classification territory, aimed output instead of area coverage. Every configuration carries its own full catalog code, which makes EXA the most directly orderable family in the range.

Controlled document

## EXA Series specification sheet

The manufacturer's specification sheet remains the controlling project document.

Common questions

## Useful answers before the next step.

These answers clarify the selection process without replacing project-specific documentation.

**Are lumen figures published for EXA?**

No. The manufacturer's EXA table carries model, wattage, catalog code, beam, colour temperature and ratings, but publishes no lumen figures. Ask us for current photometrics on any EXA configuration before you specify.

**What do the D40 to D120 codes mean?**

Beam angle: 40°, 60°, 90° and 120°. They form part of the catalog code, so the beam is fixed at order rather than adjustable on site.
