Engineering reference

Selecting within the CIT4 family.

Where CIT2 and CIT4 overlap in wattage, mounting height decides: above roughly high-bay height, the CIT4 output range is the reason to choose it. The manufacturer confirms ambient limits per application rather than publishing one range — check yours before ordering.

CIT4 shares CIT2's sealed construction and lens options but extends further up the wattage range, which is what makes it a high bay rather than a general linear. The two families overlap at the low end deliberately, so a facility can standardise on one lens family across both mounting heights.

Common questions

Useful answers before the next step.

These answers clarify the selection process without replacing project-specific documentation.

How is CIT4 different from CIT2?

Both are documented across 2 ft and 4 ft formats with similar sealing and lens options. CIT4 extends to 210 W against CIT2's 140 W, which is what suits it to high bay mounting.

What operating temperature is documented?

The table directs verification of ambient per application and notes the fixture is heat tested, rather than publishing a range. Confirm against the specification sheet for the ordered configuration.
